00-Route * The route from the camping site to the entrance of the park * 584 x 864 * (163KB)
00-Area * This maps the track trough the park into the surrounding area * 706 x 694 * (149KB)
00-Track * This is a tracking of the route - we should have taken a track crossing the ridge near the black line but we didn't find where we should go up. So we walked much longer than we anticipated.
Big part of the route follows the E9 (European Long-Distance footpath) * 488 x 704 * (60KB)
01-Gorge-1 * We started up on a road following the edge of the Eastern Jura. There was a gorge left of the road - and a steep fall on the right. * 1488 x 1984 * (633KB)
02-Gorge-2 * In this gorge, there were still some remainder of last winter: the white is snow. * 1488 x 1984 * (625KB)

06-Rest * Resting after being sure we're on the right track. The path we should have taken must have gone up here somewhere but we didn't find it. * 1488 x 1984 * (648KB)
07-Target-1 * This was the target - we think. Or, at least, somewhat in the direction. * 1984 x 1488 * (644KB)
08-Landscape * and this might have been the slope we should have gone up. However, that knowledge came after the walk.. * 1984 x 1488 * (660KB)

13A Jura6-8 * and nice views on the landscape * 5240 x 1388 * (909KB)
18A-Jura9-10 * Another long view * 3835 x 1400 * (564KB)
20-Doline-1 * Since most is limestone, you'll find caves and dolines everywhere, this is a big one Franka and I crossed - climbing up through the hole on the other side * 1984 x 1488 * (667KB)
21-Doline-2 * You can see through on all places. (The one we got through was somewhat bigger than this one) * 1488 x 1984 * (637KB)

26D-Geneve26-28 * A spot a bit lower, but the same view * 5442 x 1386 * (517KB)
29-LacLeman-1 * Lac Leman in the distance. We passed the E9 entry, which is more to the west, and decided to traverse along the East * 1984 x 1488 * (625KB)
30-LacLeman-2 * where you kept a look onto the lake and the plains surrounding it, bathing in the sun * 1984 x 1488 * (651KB)

Today we went to the National Park, to climb one peak and return by the European Long Distance Path E9. At some point, we should have gone up to Columby de Gex, but somehow we missed the path and we ended up far more south, giving us a panoramic view on Geneva and wide surroundings. At some point, we went down too far on the Eastern sloes so we had to climb back - uphill. There we could indeed pick up the trail we wanted.
