Today, we stayed in the city. But it was too hot to do a lot of things. We wanted to get in the coolness of the cathedral but the church was closed for lunch.... Franka found shelter from the sun in the shade of a church wall and was reluctant to get on the pavement: too hot to the toes. Later in the afternoon I did visit the cathedral and monastery, and enjoyed some local history in the adjacent museum.
