The route - 30 km officilaly, said to be about 31 but the GPS said 35 - is called "De Drie Veren" (Three Ferries) and indeed we usae three: "Willem", "Halve Maan" and - very appropiate - "Heen en Weer". The route took us along a few of the nature reservers that form the "Gelderse Poort" where the foreland of the Rhine is "regive to nature".
