-SchwarzenSee-Fall * A lot of water comes down, due to the rains before. The thunder of the waterfall could be heard even when we walked the opposite banks. This well is an outlet of a lake, lying 1000 m higher.... * 1488 x 1984 * (406KB)
-WaterFallOverObersee * A faint view over Obersee reveals another high waterfall: the Röthbach waterfall. Heavier than normal as well. * 1026 x 1734 * (75KB)
-SchwarzenSee-Fall-2 * Another view of the thundering waterfall, when we were to enter the woods. Even here, the falling water could well be heard. * 1488 x 1984 * (468KB)
-JunglePath * The path up into the jungle. * 1488 x 1984 * (571KB)

One day of rain - spent in the Berchtesgaden Salt mines, where no photographing was allowed) and one day rafting (no pictures for obvious reasons), it cleared - good forecast, so Günther would take us on a long walk. At 8:00 AM we would take the first boat from Königssee to Salet on the other end of the lake, then walk up to Götzenalm - a walk of about 10 kilometres, but climbing 1200 meters - passing Regenalm and we might see some wildlife. The path started easy, over a stone path along the lake, but at end, it stated up steeply. Stony paths were mixed with stairs that Franka took with ease. once she was instructed to slow down (she was too eager to go up!) Once at Regenalm (where we took a rest) the road flattened - went up, but slowly, not as steep as we had climbed up the there.
