Our last full day - not completely cloudless but sunny spots - and in the morning we found it could stay dry. Time to take a walk on our own, not heavy, so if the weather turned against us, it would be an easy back out and return. So we went to the Wimbachklamm - not as long as the Almbachklamm but more narrow, and wilder, due to the amount of rain fallen the previous days. Halfway, at the guesthouse of Wimbach Schloß, the weather tuned for the better and we decided to climb the 600m to HochalpScharte - on the road about 2 kilometres. When arrived there, we had great outlooks on both sides, and an impression how quickly the outlook can change!
