Track * The route as we walked it. The route to and from Stolwijk has changed, given the description in the booklet and the signposts. Once we came from Stolwijk, we returned to the description in the booklet, finding the road trhough the fields was officially noted No Access. 01-Geerdijk * Geerdijk, just outside Vlist, is a cycle path, with flowers on both sides. * 1566 x 1142 * (246KB)

02-Molen * A mill that is used, even today, to keep the polder dry. * 1982 x 1226 * (179KB)

03-Nest-1 * A coots nest, hidden under the trees but well visible from the path. * 1984 x 1488 * (510KB)

05-Scheef-1 * This house bends over to the left - only tke front part. The back and lenas over the other way. A twisted house, literally. * 1984 x 1488 * (678KB)

07-Nest-3 * This duck found a nesting place in a willow tree, on eye-height from the road, over 4 feet above the water. She was reckognized by the withe feathers on her chest... * 1984 x 1488 * (577KB)

08-Nest-4 * Grebes nests are safly floating off the banks. No cat of fox is able to get there. * 1688 x 854 * (147KB)
