One full day in Branson

Branson to Hot Springs Village

This year we made a trip along some places in the US. The locations were fixed since the trip included sales talks, to get us into time-sharing. We didn't - it doesn't fit in our way of traveling - but the outcome was cheap lodging, normal travel fares and some nice, local things.

The trip included:

A 1 week stay in Orlando, where we had a one-week car hire, or two days access for two to Universal Studios - we took the first one.
Here we visited SeaWorld, Universal's Adventure Island and Studio (in one day, paid by ourselves, since we had this car), and we took a trip to Clearwater Bay - on the Gulf of Mexico, only 50 miles away. And did some trips in Orlando.

A 3 days stay in Las Vegas, where we had the opportunity to see an afternoon show (very funny!), and spent some (given) dollars - and came out with $30. We started our hire of a more luxurious car that would bring us to Little Rock.
The intention was to visit Death Valley but there simply wasn't time - after the sales talk.

A 9 days drive to visit some areas of interest, like the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, the Rocky Mountains and the plains, including visits to smaller and larger Western towns like Durango and Dodge City, and getting some idea of the Midwest.

A 3 days stay in Branson, brought us yet another sales talk but finally the got the message. Went to a musical show - which was recorded and burned onto CD.

A 3 days at Lyle's place, just a short break but it gave us a glimpses of the American house life. From here, a ride to Little Rock to return the car and head on

A 4 days in Fort Lauderdale, from where we took a trip into the Everglades and spent some time on the beach.
