| After another day rest - we started getting inland - crossing the island from West to East at the 'hammerhead' of the ilsland. Too far to walk in two days, there was a need for public transport at Rikini - a crossroads with busstop, cafetaria and shop, to our hotel in the town of Roda - on the north coast. Before we came there, we passed a view hamlets, olive groves, woods and fields, with wide views over the undulating landscape and, backward, the sea. At Rikini, we found out that there was no public transport yest because it wasn't the season yet. We think the shopkeeper has phoned a taxi, that brought us to the hotel. |
