From the bridge, a look over the Poldervaart we just went along.
-Lock * An old lock between the Poldervaart and the Delftsche Schie. The hill in the background is one of the biggest dumps in the Netherlands * 1981 x 945 * (484KB)

-Poldervaart * Looking down our direction, with the previous dump on our left, ob the other side of the Poldervaart. * 1984 x 1488 * (584KB)

-Poldervaart * Looking back to the lock, shows the narrow dyke we were walking on. The land on the left is several meters below the water level on the other side of the dyke... * 1981 x 1056 * (272KB)

-Zuidmolen * Looking forward; the building on the right is a house built in the remains of a mill that once pumped water out of the low area into the Poldervaart; straight ahead there used to be another lock, between the mill outlet and the Poldervaart - now gone, like the mill. * 1984 x 1488 * (452KB)

-Kerkbuurt * Church at Kerkbuurt, just north of Kethel. * 1984 x 1488 * (514KB)

-Bridges-1 * This bridge runs parallel to the railway bridge. On the left side, the foot- and cycle bridge runs under the railway bridge, over the Poldervaart that runs below both. * 1984 x 1488 * (505KB)

-Bridges-2 * The other side: the cycle bridge runs half the Poldervaart before turning to shore. This is because the railway bridge crosses the Poldervaart in a 45-degree angle. * 1984 x 1488 * (320KB)

-Poldervaart * Looking the other way, yet another bridge crosses the canal. * 1984 x 1488 * (260KB)

-Kethel * Vie on the Northern edge of Kethel, that is surrounded by flats. * 1984 x 1488 * (463KB)

-Church * The church of Kethel, in it's own little park * 1146 x 980 * (143KB)
