For several month now, the HP OpenVMS freeware site no longer offers access
to the freeware by package; you can only download full CD content, as a .ZIP
file. Why, ramains a question. Space cannot be a problem, I think: It's just a
few Gb....
Hp offers a number of other sites where you should be able to get the files,
but I checked them all and just one (!) FTP site in this list seems to be valid
at the time.

So that is not an option either.

I downloaded all ZIP files and extracted the contents, to allow you to browse
the content of each freeware version distribution. You won't find the original
ZIP files on this site. They are still available on the HP OpenVMS freeware
site, so you'll have to get them from there.

All packages contain a file named "FREEWARE_README.TXT" that contains a short
description on what the package is about. To get a full list on the contents
per version, I scanned all directories, per version, for this file and extracted
the basic content and wrote it to a file FREEWAREVvv_ABSTRACT.TXT on each
version directory (Vvv being the version number). Some packages do not have a
FREEWARE_README.TXT file or miss the description, and therefore
you'll need to get into the package to find out about its content.

For all in the files in this directory tree, ownership and rights are
maintained by their original owners.

All software is available as-is, to be used at your own risk, without warranty
and support on my side. For questions, refer to the original owner.

And by the way: This location is READONLY. You will NOT be able to store any
files here.
