31-Dec-2007 The new program works - very, very basic, without dynamic data, that's the next step - but I didn't find a way yet to get it running as a homepage. Several options are available, including a specific extension to "index" - that's the way PHP and Perl work. Anyway: this is how the public entry looks like (at present)
Another issue is how to format everything. But once this program works, more and more static content could be transferred into just data to be presented. And who knows, in more advanced forms as well.
I changed the link to the genealogy, to the site specific for that purpose. The public site can be accessed without a problem - this link is supplied in here. For research, you'll need to use the secured entry and that is covered by a certificate. Though your browser may complain that the issuer is not set to be trusted, WASD's author can be trusted and accessing the site will not jeopardize your machine.
