1-Sep-2006

Overhaul of webserver configuration.

28-Aug-2006

Latest patches on VMS installed, and redone NIC configuration - DNS didn't start because it wasn't configured but available. Mentioned it on ITRC because this should not happen....

21-Aug-2006

New webserver enabled (has been tested for some time)

12-Jun-2006

Latest patches on VMS installed, and removed all obsolete licenses.

25-Feb-2005

...And then there were two more to install. New licenses are loaded, so the system is up and ready to function to March 2006.

18-feb-2005

One update to VMS. Updated Rdb to 7.1-4, and installed latest versions ofother RdB related software (SQL*Net, SQLServer, RDB-JDBC). Reboot because of VMSupdate

3-feb-2005

Archived logs of 2004 and January 2005

21-Mar-2004

Redone the installation of 7.3-2 - now as an upgrade since it was found thatsome patch in the past caused the problems that lead to the clean install onMarch 14th.

Now full running 7.3-2 as an upgrade to 7.3-1 - as intended.

14-Mar-2004

Upgraded to VMS 7.3-2. Actually: a clean install, since upgrade from 7.3-1failed completely - broke off immediately. So all had to be redone - which tookquite more time than anticipated. Anyway - most runs now.

27-oct-2003

Disk that contains the webs is found corrupted, and when trying to restoreit, the system crashed (Bugcheck, due to XQP error), I had to re-install Apache,Tomcat and the additional software (VMSeti monitor, YahMail) and at least thePUBLIC web. Done that in a few hours. Apache, Tomcat and Perl are now on thesystem disk, and web_disk is now twice as big (4.2 Gb in stead of 2,1)

10-Sep-2003

After the web has been set up, I started setting up mail and it seems towork. It needs to be relay- but since SPAM filtering is built-in and the machineis behind a firewall, I don't think the ISP will complain. We'll see...

However, there is a problem with OUTLOOK. It won't start SMTP receiver - asOUTLOOK-EXPRESS will, and TELNET....(Don't try to access port 25 from the outsideworld. It's closed....)

We're getting somewhere. The extra memory (removed to test performance) willbe added again this weekend.

28-aug-2003

Content getting on the way. I think 'Under Construction' doesn't fit anymore. Most of the structure has been setup now and works. So removed all "UnderConstruction" headers.

Asked elsewhere what's wrong with DNS. It could be the cause that maildoesn't get out, at least, it isn't received. Still have to dig into it.

OpenCMS has been tested a bit. I still have to find a way to get rid ofaccess errors for new pages, and how get the whole, current contents into it.That's not in the manual, so I'll ask...
