| An early start: in two busses to Imlil, passing the village; next, a short walk (uphill) to Aroumd, "the gate to the Atlas", to settle for the first long climb. When we arrrived at our hostel, the balocny overlooked the valley, the cypresses waving in the wind. In the llate afternoon, a not too long walk into the mountainous region, for the guide a possibility to estamate what he got himself into....For us, a first impressions of what we were to encounter, in terms of ascend (and descend), and, of course, the landscape. |
