From the endpoint from the third stage to Elst, in the rural plains South of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug - a hilly aria North of the Rhine. A relatively shot stage: 13 km. 

Short detour to Amerongen to have lunch near the castle, after that the last walk along nature reserve "Amerongse Bovenpolder" up the Hills west of Elst. Return by bike - but this wasn't tracked; followed main roads only.
