Zwolle to Elburg: 25 kilometer in rural lands South of Zwolle.

The route would normally start at the station of Zwolle and would at some point cross the IJssel river, probably via teh railroad bridge. But we parked our car Southe of the old road bridge, walked onto the railway bridge and there we picked up the route: Through Hattem, into the woodlands beyond that, and after crossing the highway, the rural lands were crossed towards Elburg - an old fortified city with a square layout: quite unususal for the time.

Return by bus and a walk from the statyion to the parking place.
