Elburg to Harderwijk: 25 kilometer from fortrified city to University and Hanze-city.

Started in the old fortrified city, followed rural roads and cyclepaths - and some unpaved roads - to Harderwijk, more or less following the shore of Velumemeer: the remainder of the Zuiderzee (Southern Sea, a bay of the North Sea) that remained after the polders were created. Greatest part of this route is through meadows.
