Baarn-Utrtecht: the last stage,23 kilometers through woodland and rural areas.

Starting at a parking place just outside Baarn (in stead of the station), passing the grounds of the Groeneveld estate (and nursery), the route passes the woods to Hoge and Lage Vuursche (the latter residence of the former Queen of the Netherlands - highly protected), then straight southwest, north of the hills and woods over Bilthoven and De Bilt, and at fortress Voordorp to the Overvecht railway station, in stead of crossing through Utrecht towards the central station.
