MoinMoin

This wiki is part of Jean-Francois Pieronne's Python distribution, and running out-of-the box - without hardly any (documented) effort. JFP has set up a moinmon wiki on his site, from where you can get the separate packages, but the easy installation is douwnloading two (zipped) disk-containers (LD-files). How to process these files is also discribed in that wiki: take a look at http://www.vmspython.org/DownloadAndInstallationPython

I use this one for this wiki. Read here how I have changed the default configuration, to ease updates.

PMWiki

This is a PHP-based wiki, that I heard about by reading this entry on Aaron Sakovich's blog. He's running a demo on his site in which he offers some insight in setting things up. Aaron runs SWS, so he'll use the standard MOD_PHP extension.

Twiki

This wiki is Perl based, runs on OpenVMS after some configuration and some changes to code, and with some limitations, it seems. The work has been carried out by John Malmberg, one of the people porting Perl to VMS (and keeping it up-to-date). It requires MOD_Perl and Perl 5.8.6 (not the most recent ones) and John has used SWS - VMS's Apache version), I don't know if it would run nicely under WASD (let alone OSU).

A description on configuration, limitations and changes is available on the Twiki itself. That pages also holds the changed Twiki sourcefiles, and an example configuration and .htaccess file, so you don't have to do the changes yoursef.
