03-Bridge * The old bridge (going straight up) over the Gouwe river. * 2232 x 1676 * (217KB)

04-Doorkijkje * Looking through a few woods * 1984 x 1488 * (450KB)

05-Putmolen * Near Aarlanderveen, there ar 4 mills still working to pump water out of the polder. THis is the most recent one, pumping up over 3 meters. At this point, the water leven is over 5 m below sealevel! * 1347 x 1275 * (91KB)

06-Onder_MiddelMolem * Two of the other ones, the forth fading in the mist. Each can pump water up for about 1 meter. In front is the lower mill (ondermolen), the second the middle one (middenmolen) -- * 1890 x 1392 * (174KB)

07-Middel_BovenMolem * and way in the distance, the forth of them all: the uper one (Bovenmolen). This is called Molenviergang - four mills pumping. Still at work for their purpose! * 1863 x 1296 * (124KB)

09-Riet * Reed, for thathing roofs. * 1984 x 1053 * (295KB)

10-Laagland * Over this water, you can see the slope of the dyke - the land far below the water level! * 1960 x 772 * (105KB)

11-Meiepad * Old church path leading from Nieuwkoop to Meije - across the lakes * 1488 x 1984 * (566KB)

12-GesnoeideElzen * Alder cut down - the wood colouring orange * 1380 x 1548 * (588KB)

13-Zuideinderplas * Zuideinderplas - the lake south of the path. The wind swept over the lakes0, so there were rather haevy waves at times. * 3796 x 1360 * (353KB)
