A hawks nest in Larix, somewhat off the road.
10-Plas * A huge pool, crossing the track from left to right. The result of aload package, as we could see on either size (where trees ad fallen) * 1488 x 1984 * (618KB)

11-Hout * Cut wood - bent and twisted - doesn't pile up nicely. * 1984 x 1488 * (521KB)

12-Bos * Open woodland - like most areas in this forest. This is a larix patch * 1488 x 1984 * (675KB)

13-Duintop * North of Garderen, there has been a area of drift sand - and just outside the villages, the dunes have been plated - with beech trees. On top of these, the roots have been unearthed iduring times. * 1984 x 1488 * (707KB)

16-Larixbos * A patch of larix - and these are open forests, aand very light when the trees don't carry needles. * 1984 x 1488 * (797KB)

17-Beukenbos * This is why these woods carry the name of the trees dancing. Image walking here, in the dark, with just a lit torch or lantern.... * 1984 x 1488 * (780KB)

18-Beukenbos * The open woodland as in any beeach forest. Now light, but quite dark in summer. * 1984 x 1488 * (659KB)

19-Kever * A nely cut beetle - the chips were still below at the bottom of the trunk. * 940 x 1948 * (202KB)
