At some spots, meadows are re-transformed to marshes - and it seems there are plans to extend the area, but most people living here do not agree.
19-Watertoren * Leading straight to a whitish water-tower. It's nicknamed Het Potlood (The pencil). Not a bad name! * 738 x 1044 * (134KB)

25-OverDeMeije * This river is the boundary of the provinces of Utrecht (This side) and ZuidHolland (the other side). This is very low land! * 1950 x 1443 * (226KB)

26-HollandseKade * At the beginning of the Hollandse Kade, leading into a nature reserve. * 1984 x 1488 * (261KB)
