No problems on the server
On the ‘normal’ front, no problems; all is running file.

Just one anti-relay logfile is over 4 bytes: mostly tests by ISP in Italy, that I see passing almost every day. So nothing weird.

Just that the home page didn’t start anymore. This is caused by the work I’ve be doing: the files were gone, and could not be recreated: the record layout of post was changed and this didn’t match with the files… The code has been updated, the programs have been rebuilt, files created and populated. And renamed to another type so they won’t get deleted if I recreate then new files.

New hardware to come
A friend in the UK called it a day and retired, and closed down his company. He offered the hardware he used: DS10, ES40 and storage array. I opted for the DS10, and the storage array, but getting the hardware over the North Sea, is quite a challenge. In the end, the DS10 and some spare parts will be shipped sometime this week. When available, the system will be set up conform Diana, named “Demeter”a and be the second Alpha in the cluster (the PWS – Daphne) is already set to be third. This new machine will start using VSI VMS from the beginning. When all is set up, web traffic will all be sent over this machine and Diana will be updated to VMS by VSI. So I will have to (almost) identical systems in the cluster.
