ISP change succeeded
Today was “TransferISP” day…
There were a few things I needed to adapt in the router: of course, login to access the ISP – rest would be the same), as well as Voip access credentials and IPTV setup. I did the latter two first, then the main internet access – and still Internet access was accessible though I kept the previous address – login seemed to be bugus anyway…
Then, at about 5 o’clock, there was a hickup in the internet connection – and after that, the router was set to the new connection.
First thing to do was to change DNS registration and SPF record to the new address – that was all I needed to do.
IPTV was still working (and still is) on the old address, the new setup-box had to be configured; did that on a monitor, went flawless, and I could watch TV on that monitor – though no sound because it doesn’t have a speaker, but the educated guess is that that will be OK as well. Phone had a problem: I set one tick too many, after I unchecked that box, the router registered at the SIP server.

Just to connect the setup-box the the TV and I’m done 🙂
